A long term customer of ours asked us to look out for a nice Granada Mk1 for him and, after we'd failed miserably, decided to build his own. He acquired a very good project left hand drive, 2.6 litre, manual gearbox car from Lyon, France and commissioned a classic car restoration shop to fully restore it to Ghia specification.

The car was stripped and the bodyshell totally restored and painted to the same standard underneath as on top. The fuel tank, suspension and braking systems were fully overhauled or replaced, and painted to a high standard. The 2.6 litre, V6 engine recieved a full rebuild and cosmetic refresh and looks fantastic. All the ancilliaries were rebuilt or renewed. Badges, clips, hoses, brackets and pipes were replaced. The alloy wheels were refurbished and new tyres were fitted. Nothing was left to chance.

Our friend knows a very good trimmer and he had the worn interior completely retrimmed in a fabric that is very close to the orginal. New carpets went in as well.

The result is a superb Granada Mk1. The paintwork is flawless, the interior immaculate and the engine bay pristine. The car drives very well as everything is new. The engine is smooth and quiet and the transmission, steering and brakes are just as they should be making the car very usable and easy to drive.

A full and thorough history file documents the build with countless invoices and pictures.

We think that this fantastic Granada would look rather lovely outside your holiday home in Europe.
