An original Drop Head Coupe not a converted Coupe, restored by Memory Lane Classics and sold by them.
During the restoration both Engine and gearbox were rebuilt, carbs rebuilt tuned and balanced. The body was restored, repainted in its original colour of Alice Blue, new carpets fitted throughout, a new mohair hood complete with west of England cloth headlining was installed and catches re-chromed. The brakes were overhauled by Red Triangle Garage with new Coopercraft four pot front callipers and discs.
All the brightwork was re-chromed and new stainless steel sports exhaust fitted giving that wonderful straight 6 rasp!
The Alvis sits on new stainless steel wire wheels, shod with radial tyres.
The interior features the rare option of Reutter front seats trimmed in Ivory leather.
A major service has just been completed, including oil, filter plugs, starter motor overhauled, gearbox fluid replaced, heater motor re-built, new electric windscreen washer system fitted along with boot seal and carpet. The electric choke system was to overhauled, sump oil leak rectified and a full grease up. Absolutely ready for this summers shows.
