Having not been used for a few years - but does start and run with fresh fuel and a battery - this Land Rover 88" Series IIA is being sold for recommissioning or restoration. While built in 1965, it was initially in military use - including being used by the SAS - before being civilian-registered in August 1974. Its odometer now shows 68,853 miles and its last MoT expired in July 2017 after having been tested the previous year at an indicated 67,770 miles. However, as an historic vehicle, the Land Rover is now exempt from annual testing.
Paperwork with the Land Rover includes the V5C, Heritage certificate, military record card, history file and copy of military user handbook.
