SOLID TWO OWNER 280SL PAGODA TOP Garaged kept last owner 37 years
This lovely, solid ,straight Pagoda two top Roadster has been with the same family for 37 years, they obtained from the original owner. The car has perfect factory body panel gaps with straight body panels, the aluminum components are straight .Body panels have all the correct factory spot wields in place .All panels are original. Floorboards, fenders and quarters are void of rust. This is a numbers matching example. The soft top is as new. The seats, door cards ,dash pad are all in good order. Gauges and instrumentation is crisp, clean, and work as designed. Tires are deep in tread. Chrome and paint is nice. Glass is good, chrome is not scratched or pitted.
The most attractive and redeeming characteristic of this example is it is VERY tight! Car starts easily with no smoke ,motor is strong, suspension tight, transmission shifts tight and accurately. The good condition of these items combined make for a really tight and enjoyable 280SL run and drive.
